About me
Who is Hans?
I’m a broadcast technician with a Security+ certification and currently working toward my Network+. Before this, I served as an Electronics Technician in the U.S. Navy, where I built a strong foundation in discipline and problem-solving. Today, I bring that same focus to keeping broadcasts running smoothly while continuing to grow my skills in the tech world.
My role is split between IT and broadcast operations. On the broadcast side, I manage the setup, maintenance, and troubleshooting of studio and transmission equipment. On the IT side, I handle networking, cybersecurity, and system support to keep the technology behind broadcasts reliable and secure.
Outside of work, I enjoy running a home lab and building projects in networking, cybersecurity, and automation. I’m also a car enthusiast with a racing sim setup for iRacing. In my downtime, I love gaming (Minecraft, Satisfactory, FFXIV, Rocket League) and playing Magic: The Gathering with friends.
