About me
Who is Hans?
I’m a Flight Simulation Technician with a Security+ certification and currently working toward my Network+. Before this, I served as an Electronics Technician in the U.S. Navy, where I built a strong foundation in discipline and technical problem-solving. I bring that same precision to keeping full-flight simulators and flight training devices running at peak performance.
My work covers the full stack of simulator operations — from maintaining and troubleshooting the hardware and visual systems of flight training devices to handling the networking and system support that keeps simulation environments reliable. I work closely with avionics interfaces, motion systems, and the software platforms that drive realistic training scenarios.
Outside of work, I enjoy running a home lab and building projects in networking, cybersecurity, and automation. I’m also a car enthusiast with a racing sim setup for iRacing. In my downtime, I love gaming (Minecraft, Satisfactory, FFXIV, Rocket League) and playing Magic: The Gathering with friends.
